A letter of reference is identical to a business status report for the most part, and contains a detailed description of the object of the company and information on the sector of activity. A letter of reference can also include information on the market position and can underscore the strengths of the company.
A letter of reference can be adapted to the individual transaction for which it is needed. The customer must indicate to which authority, office or company the letter should be sent. The letter can be sent to the indicated recipient directly, or to the customer.
The Business Information Research/Information department will be happy to provide letters of reference, notarised if necessary, as your house bank for submission to Austrian and foreign authorities and banks, for submission with tenders for national and international projects and for inclusion in a bidder register.
