Identification with ID Austria
Video identification
The simplest and quickest way to verify your identity during the registration process is by using ID Austria.
This is the next step of the Handy-Signatur and Citizen Card, and serves as your digital identity.
You will need the full version of ID-Austria. No additional documents are required.
The identity verification process takes only a few minutes.
You can also open an account online via video identity verification and digital signature.
Your identity will be verified via webcam while you are for example at home or in the office.
This identification process is carried out by our cooperation partner IDnow GmbH.
You will need:
- Your passport or identity card
- A stable internet connection
- A working microphone and camera
- A quiet, undisturbed room
Debit card design
During the account opening process, you have the option to select a special design for your debit card.
The standarddesign is free. A fee applies for the special design. Display of terms and conditions for service- and debit cards
