Bank Austria automatically withholds taxes as required by law. This includes capital gains tax (KESt) for individuals who have a residence or habitual place of abode in Austria, as well as for individuals without a residence or habitual place of abode in Austria who derive certain Austrian-source income. Any additional taxes that may arise, whether in Austria or abroad, are not remitted by the Bank. These taxes must be taken into account and, where applicable, paid by you.
