Assess your ESG profile

The web-based Open-es platform helps companies analyse their sustainability profile, share it across the value chain and develop it in a targeted manner. Using a questionnaire and predefined criteria, the ESG profile is determined across the areas of Environment, Social and Governance. This profile can be shared with suppliers and customers within the value chain. A development plan and a comparison with other companies (benchmarking) help to improve a company’s own position and identify appropriate measures.

Offer for our corporate clients

Our corporate clients can access an ESG score, benchmarking and a development plan free of charge on Open-es.

The platform is provided by Eni S.p.A. Cerved Group S.p.A. acts as the rating agency and provides the questionnaire, the ESG score, the benchmarking and the development plan. The questionnaire is based on the VSME standard (Voluntary Reporting Standard for SMEs) from EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group), which is currently establishing itself across Europe as the ESG standard for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Benefits at a glance:

  • Free ESG score
  • Tailored development plan
  • Simplified ESG lending process

After completing the questionnaire, corporate clients receive their ESG score from the Cerved Group directly online. In addition, a personalised development plan is provided, offering guidance on how to improve their own profile. The responses from the questionnaire and the ESG score are shared with UniCredit Bank Austria via the platform. This ensures that all relevant ESG information is immediately available for the credit decision.
