eps transfer

Easy, practical and secure payment via eps transfer: With eps transfer, online banking users from Austria and Germany can pay by online transfer. The advantage to you: You will receive an immediate payment guarantee.

The advantages of eps transfer:

  • As a trader, you will receive an immediate payment confirmation from the issuing bank of the buyer. You no longer have to wait for receipt of payment. With the help of the transmitted and unchangeable recipient reference, the payment can be assigned immediately and the goods delivery or download can be initiated as quickly as possible.
  • The eps transfer includes an execution guarantee in real time: Payment orders that have been checked and successfully accepted by the bank computer are immediately confirmed online and irrevocably executed.
  • With the eps transfer payment method, you can reach all Internet banking customers from banks participating in this standard. You are opening your shop to numerous potential buyers - and not just in Austria: eps transfer is linked to the German online payment method giropay. You can also reach customers from the German Sparkassen, Raiffeisenbanken, Volksbanken and Postbank.
Direct debit scheme

Using SEPA Direct Debit Core, products from your online shop can be purchased by customers throughout the entire European Economic Area (EEA), optionally including Switzerland and Monaco.
The prerequisite (for consumers and non-consumers) for the execution of a SEPA direct debit is that a SEPA direct debit mandate is agreed between the Creditor and the Debtor. The contents of this SEPA direct debit mandate are uniformly agreed throughout Europe and form part of the agreement with the Creditor.

The Creditor must archive the SEPA direct debit mandates and transmit the contents electronically with each SEPA direct debit. Information on participating credit institutions in the SEPA direct debit scheme can be found on the website of the European Payments Council.
