This causes the withdrawn cash to get stuck or only partially dispensed. The scam is disguised in such a way that you are led to believe there is a technical error with the machine. |

| Criminals Steal Credit Card Data and Register It for Apple Pay Using phishing messages sent via SMS or email, criminals obtain credit card details and register them for Apple Pay. Victims are then tricked under false pretenses into sharing the Apple Pay activation code with the fraudsters. By doing so, they confirm their own credit card as a new Apple Pay payment method on a device they do not control. After that, the criminals empty the account! |
