First, activate your e-statement in your 24You Online Banking under My 24You › Services › E-Statements tab.

FAQs on signing orders and transfers

  • Why does the time shown on my smartphone have to be correct for the creation of a mobile token?

    A mobile token is inter alia created with a time and date stamp which are verified by the server. If the divergence of these data is too great, the generated mobile token is invalid. This is why it is important for the date and time on your smartphone to be correct. We recommend you change the setting to automatic time updates.  

  • What is the mobile token in the MobileBanking app?

    The mobile token is a cryptographically generated code created on the smartphone by the MobileBanking app for the purpose of authorising transactions. The cryptographic keys used are directly linked to the smartphone and securely protected. The mobile token is additionally protected by the Authorisation Code (ATC) selected by you. There are two versions of the mobile token. In the first version, when signing in the app, the token is calculated in the background and transmitted hidden from the user. For certain transactions, the mobile token can also be displayed and entered manually in the application (e.g. when changing to a new primary device).

  • Can I change my ATC code?

    You can change your ATC in the MobileBanking app’s security settings. Tap › Your initials (or your icon) › Settings › Security and devices › Change ATC.

  • Is the ATC as secure as MobileTAN Push?

    Absolutely. Different mechanisms are used, but both result in a secure signature. During authorisation with the ATC, your previously registered smartphone uses keys stored on the device to generate a mobile token that is compared between the app and the bank’s servers in the background. The ATC serves as an additional security feature.

  • When do I need the ATC and when do I receive a MobileTAN?

    The authorisation code (ATC), used to authorise transactions within the app, provides additional protection for the technical signature which is generated in the background for every order. A push message is then no longer required in the app. The bank’s server will continue to generate a TAN for orders in 24You, which you will receive with a push notification.

  • What is the ATC code?

    The authorisation code (ATC) is a 6 to 10-digit number created by you when setting up the Bank Austria MobileBanking app and which is known only to yourself. You need the ATC to authorise transactions such as transfers within the app. Please keep your ATC secret and memorise the code.

  • I have forgotten my ATC, what can I do?

    You created the Authorization Code (ATC) during the app activation process. You can reset your ATC in the MobileBanking app’s security settings. Please tap › Your initials (or your icon) › Settings › Security and devices › Change ATC › Reset ATC.
    If you don't yet have a debit card with a new card authenticity certificate, please contact the Bank Austria Security Center by calling +43 (0) 50505-26105; they can send you a new ATC. Please don't uninstall the app under any circumstances, as this would cause the keys for signing orders to be lost
