Activate BusinessNet for the first time
Here you will find everything you need to know when activating BusinessNet for the first time.
What do you need to activate BusinessNet?
Please have the following items ready for activating your BusinessNet:
- Your smartphone – for installing the BusinessNet app
- User number – you will find this on the reverse side of your debit card (BankCard) or in your BusinessNet user authorisation modification contract
- PIN – if you have forgotten your PIN, you can do a PIN reset PIN Reset
- Your passport or ID
Please download the BusinessNet app in your AppStore and follow each step in the directions for activating the BusinessNet app

How can I activate BusinessNet?
By installing the BusinessNet app followed by onboarding in the app. Further information is available in our guidelines for first-time access.

Where do I find my user number for using BusinessNet?
Your user number is a combination of eight numbers which you will find in your BusinessNet user authorisation modification contract. If you have a debit card (BankCard), you will also find the user number on the reverse side of the card.

I have forgotten my PIN for BusinessNet. How can I request a new PIN?
With the help of your debit card (BankCard) you can simply have your PIN reset by clicking the following link: https://banking.bankaustria.at/pinreset
If you do not have a Bank Austria debit card (BankCard) call +43 (0) 50505 26500 or +43 (0) 50505 26700 or +43 (0) 50505 63830 for a PIN reset. -
