UniCredit Bank Austria has completed the purchase of its headquarters at Rothschildplatz 1 from asset manager PGIM
- The purchase of the building on the Austria Campus from asset manager PGIM was finalised with the closing of the contract after all regulatory approvals had been obtained
UniCredit Bank Austria and asset manager PGIM announce that the sale of the building at Rothschildplatz 1 on Vienna's Austria Campus, location of the headquarters of UniCredit Bank Austria, by PGIM to UniCredit Bank Austria has been successfully completed and that all provisions of the concluded contract have been fully met. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price or the specific terms of the contract.
The Austria Campus consists of a total of five buildings, three of which were acquired by PGIM in 2017. Bank Austria has now purchased one of these buildings from PGIM, its headquarters at Rothschildplatz 1. UniCredit Bank Austria was previously a tenant in this building. “The purchase of our headquarters is in line with our strategic repositioning, that buildings which are primarily used for banking operations should be owned by the bank”, says Ivan Vlaho, CEO of UniCredit Bank Austria.
