Contribution of ideas and suggestions for active improvements, in other words calling on and promoting employees' creative potential, is a company's lifeblood.
"Betrieblicher Vorschlagswesen" (BVW), or In-house Suggestions (IHS), aims to identify this potential and constantly improve Bank Austria.
The emphasis is on employee motivation and their inclusion in corporate tasks.
Every suggestion is reviewed by IHS representatives and forwarded to the relevant expert assessors.
The best suggestions are rewarded
The IHS Committee decides whether to accept or reject the suggestion on the basis of the expert assessment. If a suggestion is implemented, the employee receives a bonus, whose value is also decided by the Committee.
The most important criteria for determining the bonus are the savings achieved and/or the impact on revenue, as well as the execution readiness, the novelty and last, but not least, importance to the bank.
