UniCredit Bank Austria waives inflation adjustments on accounts this year
- The bank is a reliable partner for its clients in the current challenging economic situation
- In order to ease the financial burden on domestic households, UniCredit Bank Austria is refraining this year from making inflation adjustments to account products
The health and well-being of employees and customers is UniCredit Bank Austria’s top priority.
No inflation adjustment for account products
Due to the current corona crisis, UniCredit Bank Austria will this year waive all inflation adjustments for account products for the last two years. Moreover, the current inflation adjustment for credit accounts, which was planned for 1 April 2020 due to the long lead times before the corona crisis, will not be implemented this year.
“This year we will waive all inflation adjustments on accounts”, says Robert Zadrazil, CEO of UniCredit Bank Austria. “In addition, we will not implement this year the inflation adjustment of the account maintenance fee for credit accounts, which was planned long before the Corona crisis and was scheduled for 1 April 2020 due to the necessary lead times. Furthermore, in the current situation we are available to defer loan instalments quickly and unbureaucratically, should there be difficulties in repaying a loan.”
UniCredit Bank Austria will continue to actively monitor the situation, always act in everyone’s best interests and do the right thing vis a vis all our stakeholders!
