The performance of the HVB Garant Anleihe 9/2025 is based on the “Emerging Focus Strategy Index”. The index, while taking into account a flexible security system, reflects the performance of the “Amundi Funds Equity Emerging Focus” fund – an investment fund that invests primarily in shares of companies from emerging economies. The bond offers 100 percent capital security from the issuer on maturity. If the index does not develop positively, capital security takes effect and repayment is made at the nominal value of EUR 1,000 per bond.

The new Garant Anleihe provides interesting medium-term investment opportunities. Depending on the degree of market fluctuation, the “Emerging Focus Strategy Index” invests more in the “Amundi Funds Equity Emerging Focus” or in the “HVB 3 Months Rolling Euribor Index” money market index. The objective of the index is to allow investors to participate in the performance of the fund with risk optimisation.
If the index has increased (performance between initial and final valuation dates), investors will receive on the repayment date of 29 September 2025, per share, the nominal value of EUR 1,000 plus the positive percentage performance multiplied by the nominal value1.
If the index has decreased (performance between initial and final valuation dates) or if the performance is zero percent, capital security takes effect and repayment is made at the nominal value of EUR 1,000 per bond.
The capital is invested for a total of 7 years and 9 months, during which time the bond can be sold on- or off-exchange under normal market conditions. The underlying “Emerging Focus Strategy Index” is calculated in euros. The index sponsor and calculation agent is UniCredit Bank AG (formerly Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG).
