Bank Austria’s free student account featuring a EUR 70 shopping voucher as a welcome gift

Once again this year, Bank Austria is offering its StudentenKonto current account with free account maintenance and an attractive welcome gift. EUR 70 shopping voucher as a welcome gift
Students who open a StudentenKonto account with Bank Austria for the first time before 30 November 2016 and have lived in Austria for at least one year before opening the account will receive a EUR 70 shopping voucher as a welcome gift. The voucher can be redeemed at amazon.de, edustore, Zalando or Douglas. Of course students are free to choose which shop and which items they want.
Free account maintenance, "Mobile Geldbörse" and "CashBack"
The StudentenKonto offers free account maintenance including all bookings and self-service account statements, a BankCard with Maestro limits, featuring contactless payment and secure Internet payment, Online- and MobileBanking, access to the Bank Austria apps such as "Mobile Geldbörse" and the benefit programme "CashBack" and "CashbackOnline".

The Bank Austria StudentenKonto also offers free access to the innovative Bank Austria apps for iPhone, Blackberry, Windows 8 and Android smartphones. The "Mobile Geldbörse" app not only allows payments to be made with a smartphone, it also features other practical digital services such as the "instant more money" function. The "instant more money" function can be used to download more money for card payments in a matter of seconds if this is actually necessary. The innovative Bank Austria apps turn a smartphone into a mobile bank branch.
The CashBack benefit programme transfers money back into the account every month when the Bank Austria BankCard is used at one of the numerous partner companies. With CashBack Online, students simply profit when shopping over the Internet and receive attractive discounts in more than 600 online shops and holiday portals. The StudentenKonto can be opened in any Bank Austria branch and in the Bank Austria OnlineShop, which offers all of Bank Austria's key products. Credit cards offering special terms and conditions
The Bank Austria StudentenKonto includes a VISA or MasterCard Studenten Card or a Diners Club Student Card free of charge for the first year with all the benefits of cashless payment. The VISA or MasterCard Studenten Card comes with a EUR 25 start bonus which is deducted from the first bill. In subsequent years, the credit card will cost EUR 33.60 per year, complete with travel insurance and travel cancellation insurance – until the cardholder completes his/her studies or turns 30.
The Diners Club Student Card, which is available at a special rate of EUR 24 per year after the first year until the cardholder completes his/her studies or turns 30, gives cardholders free access to over 600 Diners Club airport lounges. The StudentenKonto is available until the account holder either completes his/her studies or turns 30, whichever comes first.
