Bank Austria’s smart student account featuring a EUR 70 shopping voucher as a welcome gift

Once again this year, Bank Austria is offering its StudentenKonto current account with free account maintenance and an attractive welcome gift. EUR 70 shopping voucher as a welcome gift
Students who open a StudentenKonto for the first time until 30 November 2015 and have lived in Austria for at least one year before opening the account will receive a EUR 70 shopping voucher as a welcome gift. The voucher is redeemable at amazon, Thalia, H&M, Hervis, Hollywood Megaplex, UCI Kinowelt or Diesel Kino. Of course students are free to choose what shop and which items they like.
Free account maintenance, discounted tickets and CashBack
The StudentenKonto offers free account maintenance including all bookings and self-service account statements, a BankCard with Maestro limits, featuring contactless payment and secure online payment, Online- and MobileBanking and the attractive Bank Austria Ticketing service with discounted tickets for roughly 4,000 events, concerts, festivals, and comedy shows a year. SmartBanking with personal service via videophone
The Bank Austria StudentenKonto also offers SmartBanking for smart students. SmartBanking brings the bank branch to the place where the account holder needs it. Bank Austria and the bank’s relationship managers can be reached around the clock via videotelephony, telephone, SMS and in Online- and MobileBanking. Moreover, students can of course use the entire range of advisory services available at Bank Austria’s branches. In combination with a StudentenKonto current account, students can also use Bank Austria’s innovative apps for iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows 8 and Android smartphones, free of charge. This turns a smartphone into a mobile bank branch. The StudentenKonto can be opened in any Bank Austria branch and in the Bank Austria OnlineShop, which offers all of Bank Austria’s key products. Credit cards offering special terms and conditions
The Bank Austria StudentenKonto includes a VISA or MasterCard Studenten Card or a Diners Club Student Card free of charge for the first year, offering all the benefits of cashless payment. The VISA or MasterCard Studenten Card comes with a EUR 25 starting bonus which is deducted from the first bill. In subsequent years, the credit card will cost EUR 33.60 per year, complete with travel insurance and travel cancellation insurance – until the cardholder completes his/her studies or turns 30.
The Diners Club Student Card, which is available at a special rate of EUR 24 per year after the first year until the cardholder completes his/her studies or turns 30, gives cardholders free access to over 500 Diners Club airport lounges. The StudentenKonto is available until the account holder either completes his/her studies or turns 30, whichever comes first.
