New ErfolgsAnleihe bond with an initial interest rate of 2.50 per cent p.a.1) in the first year and security for capital at the end of the term

Bank Austria is now offering Fix-Floater-Anleihe 2014–2018/7, a new ErfolgsAnleihe bond for investors who want to invest their money for a reasonable term and for whom a minimum interest rate is an important consideration. The ErfolgsAnleihe bond has a term of four years and offers security for capital if held to maturity. The minimum investment is EUR 3,000, the bond is denominated in units of EUR 1,000.

Current income
Interest on the ErfolgsAnleihe bond is paid quarterly on specified dates; the initial interest rate is 2.50 per cent p.a.1) for the first year. The interest rate from the second year will be adjusted on a quarterly basis to the 3-month EURIBOR without deduction, and is at least 1.125 per cent p.a.1), and a maximum 4 per cent p.a.1). This enables investors to benefit from an interest floor and possible increase in interest rate up to 4 per cent p.a.1) in the remaining four years to maturity.

Availability and security of capital
Capital is repaid at 100 per cent of the nominal value at the end of the term. Investors who need their capital before maturity can sell the Fix-Floater-Anleihe 2014–2018/7 bond at the prevailing market price. It should be noted that the ErfolgsAnleihe bond is subject to price fluctuations during its term. If the investment is not held to maturity, there is a risk that investors may not get back the full amount invested. Bank Austria is liable with its entire assets for the payment of interest and capital.
