Komfort Invest: a comfortable way to invest with great flexibility

  • Komfort Invest allows you to invest regularly, adjust the amount of investment at any time, flexibly change the investment duration and to access your capital if necessary
  • Investors can also flexibly determine the amounts paid out as a one-off, lump-sum payment or in regular instalments
  • The innovative website www.komfortinvestzone.at provides practical investment orientation to help you reach your various investment goals

Together with its strong partner Pioneer Investments Austria, Bank Austria is taking a completely new approach to allow its customers flexible investment in securities. Komfort Invest shows investors various different ways to adjust their investment to life’s never ending stream of changes.

Komfort Invest allows you to invest regularly, adjust the amount of investment at any time, flexibly change the investment duration and to access your capital if necessary. Investors can also flexibly determine the amounts paid out as a one-off, lump-sum payment or in regular instalments. Easy planning of your investment goals can be done in advance on the Internet. Helmut Bernkopf, head of Private and Corporate Banking at Bank Austria: “We have found that our customers are mainly interested in investing comfortably and flexibly. The Komfort Invest funds offer a good balance of opportunities and risks, tailored to various investment goals and needs. In the current low interest rate environment, investment funds are an interesting option for smaller investors, thanks to their diversified investment strategy.”

The five PIA Komfort Invest funds invest in bond funds, equity funds or a mix of both, depending on which option is selected. Five different options are available, depending on the customer’s investment horizon, risk appetite, individual investment goals and return expectations.

Komfort Invest in the Internet
Naturally, there is also online support for Komfort Invest. The fund partner Pioneer Investments has set up an innovative micro-site www.komfortinvestzone.at, which provides users with valuable orientation on how they can best achieve their personal investment goals.

“The Investment Navigators are really the heart of this site,” said Werner Kretschmer, CEO of Pioneer Investments Austria. “The Investment Navigators show how long and how much needs to be invested to reach a certain goal, whether it’s regular payments later in life or building up a certain amount of wealth.”

One key aspect in this regard is that investors can first define their desired investment outcome, either as the amount of a monthly pension for a specified period of time or as a one-off payment. Based on the goals, the Investment Navigator calculates the amount of monthly (or other regular) payments which is needed to achieve the desired goals.

“Naturally, these are not binding calculations,” noted Kretschmer, “but it does highlight the need to build up capital over a longer period of time.” In any case, customers who are interested still need to schedule an investment consultation meeting as the next step. This is the only way to allow the advisors at Bank Austria to sit down with the customer and define together what investment products are best suited to meeting the specified goals.

Komfort Invest as a SecuritiesPlan
“SecuritiesPlan is an ideal product for investing even with small amounts of capital, and is particularly attractive thanks to its flexibility,” explained Helmut Bernkopf. For example, Komfort Invest funds can be purchased with regular instalments starting from just EUR 40 per month. An investment portfolio with a risk profile which takes into account individual circumstances and knowledge is designed for each investor during the detailed consultation with the customer advisor.
