Rosemarie Kerencic, 44, began her career at Bank Austria in one of the largest units in Vienna. She most recently ran the Währing branch in Vienna and was the deputy city director for the first district before she was appointed as head for private individuals in Salzburg at the beginning of October.
The new head of private individuals in Salzburg came out on top in a two-stage internal hearing with her presentation and her enthusiastic, forward-looking strategy for future market growth in the private individuals segment in Salzburg. Rosemarie Kerencic said, "I am very excited about my new responsibilities. For me, the customer and his or her needs and wishes always come first. Because of this, a key goal in my work will be further improving customer satisfaction, along with the clear growth strategy of positioning our new, innovative SmartBanking service model in Salzburg, thereby intensifying the personal contact with our customers even more."
At the beginning of 2013, Bank Austria combined its commercial banking with private individuals and corporate customers into a single, effective unit. In Salzburg, commercial banking for corporate customers is still being managed by Christian Profanter, and business with private individuals is being run by Rosemarie Kerencic. The Corporate & Investment Banking Division serves multinational and large corporate customers requiring capital market and investment banking services. The Private Banking Division, which is directed by Klaus Gilhofer in Salzburg, is open to all private customers with invested assets of over EUR 500,000.
