The Bank Austria Funding Adviser, a free online service tool from Bank Austria, was selected by the participants in this year's Alpbach Finance Symposium as the most innovative financial service of 2012. This is already the third time in a row that Bank Austria has received this award.
Dieter Hengl, the Management Board member responsible for Corporate & Investment Banking at Bank Austria, had this to say: "With all the many different forms of funding, subsidies, guarantees and low-interest loans, it is not that easy for companies making investments to find the most suitable financing solution. With the Bank Austria Funding Adviser, which is available online, we offer our customers and non-customers a service tool that allows them to gain a quick overview of Austrian and international funding possibilities. Especially when it comes to the export sector, funding plays an important role: This is why we use our excellent contacts to national and international funding agencies to support and advise our corporate customers and also offer a custom financing solution for every situation. Winning the audience award at the Alpbach Finance Symposium again has confirmed our role as Austria's leading innovative bank for corporate customers."
"With our Funding Adviser, we aim to offer smaller and medium-sized companies a quick overview of national funding including EU co-financing. Access to funding is absolutely essential for SMEs, especially when it comes to innovation as well as research and development. Bank Austria also actively supports its customers in obtaining funding. Bank Austria provides intensive advisory even in the planning phase: It cooperates closely with the most important funding agencies, and our relationship managers serve as contacts to them. I am pleased about this award because it shows that through our efforts, we are able to optimally assist Austrian businesses in implementing their investment plans," said Rainer Hauser, the Bank Austria Management Board member responsible for Family & SME Banking.
The Bank Austria Funding Adviser provides companies that are currently located in Austria or are planning to move here with an overview of the most important funding opportunities in just a few clicks. Depending on which area is relevant for each company, they can choose from the following overviews of current funding opportunities: investing in Austria, investing abroad, export guarantees and export finance. So that the companies know immediately who they should turn to for further advice, the contacts in the Export & Investment Promotion Finance department at Bank Austria are also listed. During a consultation, the funding specialists from Bank Austria can put together an optimal mix of funding based on a company's individual situation.
