Real Invest sells Götzis Business Park

The business park in Götzis, Vorarlberg is changing hands. This multi-functional property in the Rhine Valley in Vorarlberg is being sold by Real Invest to the PRISMA Group based in Dornbirn. The size of the transaction has not been disclosed.

"The PRISMA Group is a renowned company in Vorarlberg with many years of experience in location and regional development. The Vorarlberg Business Park is to be revitalised and further developed in partnership with the town of Götzis. This safeguards the future of the Götzis Business Park, which is very important for us as the previous owner", said Elke Auer, Managing Director of Bank Austria Real Invest Asset Management, on the sale.

Founded in 1989 the Vorarlberg Business Park was one of the first privately owned technology and services parks in Austria. It is a prime example of successful regional economic development. The park currently accommodates more than sixty businesses from the technology and services sector, including numerous SMEs as well as many large and renowned corporations. However, the history of the 22,000 square metre site stretches back much further than that. Opened in the 1930s as a production site for textile companies, it gradually become multi-functional in several stages. For Real Invest the transaction is not just about re-arranging its portfolio, it also represents the successful utilisation of one of its long-term core properties. As the new owner, the PRISMA Group wants to develop the Vorarlberg Business Park in partnership with the town of Götzis, refurbish the buildings and adapt its use in accordance with regional requirements.
