Friederike Kotz new head of CEE Risk Control
Friederike Kotz, 48, was appointed new head of Bank Austria’s CEE Risk Control Department as of the beginning of September. She succeeds Gerhard Deschkan who has become head of the MIB & Market Risk Department. In her new position, Friederike Kotz will be responsible for credit risk control issues in CEE.
Friederike Kotz graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and started her career as trainee at then-Zentralsparkasse in 1986. At the beginning of her career, she was credit analyst responsible for major customers. Since 1995, she has been holding leading positions in the international risk management of today’s Bank Austria. In addition, Friederike Kotz is member to the supervisory boards of various subsidiaries in CEE.
