Decoration of Honour in Gold of the Republic of Austria for Wolfgang Feuchtmüller
Wolfgang Feuchtmüller, director and advisor to the management board of Bank Austria and spokesman of the board of directors of Notartreuhandbank AG, today accepted the Decoration of Honour in Gold of the Republic of Austria from State Secretary of Finance Reinhold Lopatka. Bank Austria management board chairman Erich Hampel expressed his congratulations to "the eminent financial market expert and steadfast supporter of the arts Wolfgang Feuchtmüller. It fills me with pride that this very important award has gone to a worthy representative of our bank."

Georg Weissmann, notary public and chairman of the supervisory board of Notartreuhandbank AG, noted the valuable work that "Wolfgang Feuchtmüller has done not only for our bank and the notary profession, but also in the service of the public in the fields of economics and the arts. All of Austria's notaries congratulate him on this recognition of his life's work."
Financial market expert and academic
Born in 1948, Wolfgang Feuchtmüller finished his law studies at the University of Vienna and his studies in economics and business administration at the University of Economics and Business Administration and the University of Technology in 1971. After earning an MBA in corporate finance and portfolio management at Tulane University in New Orleans, USA, Wolfgang Feuchtmüller began his career at Österreichische Länderbank in 1974 and eventually rose to the position of director of the executive secretariat. After heading the securities and asset consulting division at Länderbank, the author of several books and articles on financial market topics was appointed the head of key accounts at Bank Austria in 1991. Since 1999, Wolfgang Feuchtmüller has been director and advisor to the management board of Bank Austria.
Establishment of Notartreuhandbank
One of Feuchtmüller's most important achievements was the role he played in establishing Notartreuhandbank AG. As a representative of Bank Austria, he was material in establishing the structure of the bank in 1997, and has been central in managing this bank's activities as a member of the board of directors since 2000 and as the spokesman of the board of directors since 2002. This special-purpose bank manages fiduciary assets and develops electronic services for Austrian notaries and posted its eleventh record profit in a row in 2008.
