Herbert Hangel is the new Head of Global Banking Services
Effective at the beginning of July, Herbert Hangel, 38, will assume the newly created position of Head of Global Banking Services Austria. He will succeed Robert Zadrazil and will report directly to the CEO of Bank Austria, Erich Hampel, as well as to UniCredit Group's Head of Group Organisation an Logistics Services in the future.
Mr Hangel, a native of Hollabrunn, Austria, has been working for the Group since 1990 and has gathered extensive experience in the fields of payment transactions, organisations and ICT management. He most recently filled two positions simultaneously: Along with his responsibilities as Head of ICT Management Austria & CEE, he also headed up the ICT Integration unit at UniCredit Group, where he was responsible for all of the Group's IT-related issues in Austria and CEE.
While performing his professional duties, Mr Hangel also completed the Exports and International Financial Management degree programme at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration in 1996 and the General Management and Banking and Finance degree programme at Danube University Krems in 2003. Mr Hangel is married and has a five years old son.
