Bank Austria Corporate Banking launches image campaign

  • Focus on optimism in spite of the crisis and role as a house bank
  • Created by Jung von Matt / Donau, will run until December

Bank Austria's Corporates Division launched a new image campaign with the motto "To give every idea an opportunity" at the beginning of the month. The campaign was developed by the agency Jung von Matt / Donau and will run until December of this year. The main objective is to signal optimism in spite of the ongoing financial market crisis and its effects on the economy, and to portray Bank Austria as the reliable, secure partner for Austria's economy. In addition to five different print themes, the campaign also includes advertorials and below-the-line activities on the Internet, a broad range of direct mailings and customer events.

"Bank Austria is at the head of the market for business customers of every size in Austria. In these difficult times, we want to use this campaign to underscore how we see ourselves: as a reliable house bank," says Helmut Bernkopf, Bank Austria's executive director of corporate banking. This new campaign is especially intended to strengthen the bank's image in terms of attractiveness, competence, customer proximity, stability and internationality. According to a recent survey, Bank Austria is the house bank for 56 per cent of its current corporate customers, the highest rate of any bank in Austria.
