Bank Austria Creditanstalt designates future Management Board members after merger of HVB Bank and Central Profit Banka in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Subject to approval by the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the future management team of the bank in Bosnia and Herzegovina will consist of the following persons:

Alexander Zsolnai (33), Chairman of the Management Board. Mr Zsolnai has been with Bank Austria Creditanstalt (BA-CA) since 1 October 2003. In previous functions at Post/PSK, Erste Bank and Cap Gemini, he gained experience in finance and management over several years.

Dragan Kovačevič (53), currently Deputy Governor of the central bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Almir Krkalič (32), currently a director of Procredit Bank in Sarajevo with responsibility for customer relationships and product development. Mr Krkalič studied business administration and economics at "Ludwigs-Universität" in Freiburg/Germany and worked in the treasury and cash management division of Meb Banka d.d. Sarajevo for several years.

Armin Huber (43), currently a member of the Management Board of Commercial Bank Biochim, BA-CA's Bulgarian banking subsidiary, will join the Management Board of Central Profit Banka. Mr Huber was previously active in the area of risk management and risk analysis for various Austrian and international banks. 

Alfred Füsselberger (40), a member of the Management Board of Central Profit Banka since October 2003. He has been with the BA-CA Group since 1990.

Fehim Kapidžič, currently Chairman of the Management Board of Central Profit Banka, will leave the bank after the merger at his own request. Until completion of the merger, Mr Kapidžič will continue to perform his current functions and support the professional merger process.

With effect from 1 July 2004, Alexander Zsolnai will become Chairman of the Management Board of HVB Bank Bosna i Hercegovina, succeeding Manfred Meier in this function. Dragan Kovačevič and Almir Krkalič will join the Management Board of HVB Bank Bosna i Hercegovina with effect from 1 June 2004. Also on 1 June 2004, Armin Huber will become a member of the Management Board of Central Profit Banka.
