Thomas Kofler joins the Managing Board of CA IB

Thomas Kofler, one of the most prominent investment bankers in South-East Europe, has been promoted to the Managing Board of CA IB Corporate Finance Ges.m.b.H. Previous to the appointment Mr. Kofler (35) had managed CA IB’s activities in Croatia and Slovenia. His record of successful achievements includes the leading role he played in the EUR 876m-take-over by Novartis of Lek, a Slovenian pharmaceuticals producer - a transaction which was awarded “Emerging Markets Deal of the Year” by Acquisitions Monthly.

“By appointing Thomas to the Managing Board CA IB expects to further improve its leading market position in the South-East European growth markets”, said Willi Hemetsberger, member of the Managing Board of Bank Austria Creditanstalt and Chairman of CA IB’s Supervisory Board. The Managing Board of CA IB Corporate Finance now consists of the following members:  Klaus Requat, Christopher Perrin, Alicja Kornasiewicz and Thomas Kofler.
