Digital innovation in Corporate & Investment Banking:
UniCredit Bank Austria expands digital offer with app showing all market data at a glance
- UniCredit Bank Austria expands its digital offer for corporate customers
- Through the FIS MarketMap Mobile UniCredit app, finance managers have the most important information on the markets at their fingertips
By using one single app, you can hold all important market data in your hand. The new FIS MarketMap Mobile UniCredit app* not only offers comprehensive access to current and historical market data, but also presents all asset classes, from equities, exchange rates, interest rates through to commodities – going far beyond what other financial market mobile applications provide.
UniCredit Bank Austria will offer the new app to its corporate & investment banking customers, who must keep up to date with financial markets. This enables finance managers responsible for cash and liquidity management, financing and financial asset management and financial risk management to access the market data they need at any time or anywhere, simply, clearly and on the move.
Dieter Hengl, UniCredit Bank Austria Management Board for Corporate & Investment Banking, said: “UniCredit Bank Austria is the market leader in corporate & investment banking in Austria. As such, we are constantly looking to improve and expand our digital offer for corporate customers, since we at UniCredit see the move towards digitalisation as a key driver for change in the industry. With the new FIS MarketMap Mobile UniCredit app, we offer our customers an entirely new digital solution, which will make their daily working life easier and always keep them in the loop, regardless of location or time.”

Global equities, futures, bonds and commodity markets are displayed with a delay of just 15 minutes. All other data such as price information on interest, currencies and data from the Vienna Stock Exchange are shown in real-time. An intuitive and easily configurable interface with personalisable menus and individual portfolios allows the app to be tailored to show the information relevant to customers. Professional chart analyses and various alerts supplement the information, as does an international calendar showing the most important events and key indicators.
FIS MarketMap is a global market data platform and offers high-end terminal solutions, efficient data feed APIs and user-friendly analysis tools for financial institutions and companies. The FIS MarketMap is used by more than 1,000 customers and approximately 25,000 users worldwide.
As part of Transform 2019, UniCredit is investing EUR 1.7 billion in IT systems and digital innovations, in order to encourage the digital development of the Group and to adapt our digital offer to the changing behaviour of our customers. This also means that our customers’ expectations for straightforward and digital services can best be met through constant innovation.
