AS "UniCredit Bank" started its business in Latvia in 1996 as AS "Vereinsbank Rīga" and during these years the bank has sustained its position in the Latvian banking market. Within rebranding to AS "UniCredit Bank" in 2007, the bank expanded its operations in the Baltic region, creating a Pan-Baltic Bank with branches in all three countries (banking operations in Lithuania since 2001, in Estonia since 2004).
