The Austrian banking industry has established a Joint Conciliation Board to settle certain complaints (Gemeinsame Schlichtungsstelle der Kreditwirtschaft). Customers of all participating credit institutions (including those of UniCredit Bank Austria AG) may turn to this Conciliation Board.
This Conciliation Board reviews complaints in connection with - cross-border credit transfers - transactions involving electronic payment cards - electronic commerce - cross-border payments in euros - distance selling of financial services - complaints concerning inadequate provision of information on housing loans
In addition, UniCredit Bank Austria AG complies with the code of conduct prescribed by the Austrian E-Commerce Trustmark. Information about this code of conduct is available at http://www.guetezeichen.at/.
