The Euromoney Private Banking Survey is published annually and provides a qualitative as well as quantitative assessment of the best services in private banking, by geography and area of service. The survey is considered as one of the most prestigious in the wealth management industry, since it combines analysis of bank-provided data and peer review. It covers more than 15 different product and client categories on a regional and local basis, and ranks results in 69 countries. Close to 600 institutions from 90 countries took part in the Euromoney Private Banking Survey 2016 with 2,616 responses.

Bank Austria "Best Trade Finance Bank" in Austria for eighth time in a row

Bank Austria has been crowned "Best Trade Finance Bank" in Austria for 2016 by US financial magazine "Global Finance", for the eighth year in a row. This is the result of an annual survey among analysts, managers and technology experts in 84 countries. The most important selection criteria for the awards were transaction volumes, geographical reach, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.

In its World’s Best Sub-Custodian Banks 2015 survey, Global Finance magazine awarded UniCredit for its achievements in Central and Eastern Europe. The US-based financial magazine selected UniCredit as Best Sub-Custodian Bank in Central and Eastern Europe.

Furthermore, UniCredit scores number one in Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine.

Bank Austria is Austria's most customer-oriented service provider of 2014

Bank Austria was declared winner in the competition for "Austria's most customer-oriented service providers" in 2014 for the fourth time consecutive.

The award focuses on the conversion of the new business model with innovative consulting models and involvement of customers and employees, innovative complaint management as well as efforts for sustainability or cultural and social activities.

Bank Austria certified again for environmental management with ISO 14001

In 2011, Bank Austria was the first Austrian commercial bank to be certified with the internationally renowned ISO 14001 environmental management certification from Quality Austria. This notable award underlines the efforts made so far regarding environmental protection. The European Change Communications Award 2013

Now in its fifth year, the European Change Communications Award was created to honour outstanding projects in the field of change communications. The competition for Austria’s most customer-oriented service providers

The competition for Austria’s most customer-oriented service providers of 2012 under the expert administration of the University of St. Gallen addresses all service providers that operate in Austria. The established European Customer Service Champions competition, which has been setting standards for customer service in Germany for six years, was carried out in Austria for the first time in 2011 (www.bestedienstleister.at).

The competition focuses on three dimensions:

  • Customer experiences in an own customer survey
  • a management questionnaire about all activities and initiatives regarding customer service and
  • an intensive audit by experts of IMAS International, Service Rating GmbH and the University of St. Gallen.

The assessment is based on a scientific model of customer value research at the University of St. Gallen, where customer opinion and management opinion provide a comprehensive image together. The benchmark analysis is carried out both within an industry and across industries. The participants are compared to the international top service providers of the last years in their main service characteristics.

Bank Austria crowned "Best Trade Finance Provider Austria" again by "Global Finance"

Bank Austria has been voted "Best Trade Finance Provider" in Austria for 2011 by US financial magazine "Global Finance". This is the outcome of an annual survey of analysts, managers and technology experts, and means the award has gone to Austria's market leader for the third year in succession. Bank Pekao and Ukrsotsbank, its Polish and Ukrainian subsidiaries, were also honoured for the achievements in their home markets.

At the same time, UniCredit was voted "Best Trade Finance Provider 2011" in the Central and Eastern European region. The main selection criteria were transaction volumes, geographical spread, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.
