FokusLife – with active asset management and tax benefits.2)
You want to take advantage of the earnings opportunities on the international financial markets but you are aiming higher than the potential gains offered by forms of investment that merely provide a safe place for your money. There is much to be said for the better returns available from investing in equities for example, were it not for the corrections that trigger sharp falls in prices. But now you can benefit from the know-how of experienced and highly trained asset managers with small investment amounts, and therefore exploit the earnings opportunities of the international financial markets through the dynamic combination of various investment vehicles.
FokusLife, the new generation of index-linked insurance investments in Austria, combines the benefits of professional and active asset management with the protection of life insurance. In addition to the earnings opportunities you also benefit from tax relief2) and lower charges. All you need is to make a monthly payment of at least EUR 50 or a one-time investment of no less than EUR 5,000.
Focus on return potential with clearly defined risks.
There are many forms of investment, ranging from bonds, equities and real estate to raw material and commodity stocks. Each of these financial instruments has its own advantages in a given market situation. But what can you do when the international financial markets are constantly shifting and changing? What is considered the right choice today and brings high profits through rising prices may not apply the day after tomorrow, leading to losses because of falling prices.
With FokusLife you get to exploit the earnings potential of the international financial markets just like a major investor. The active asset management enables you to harness the earnings potential over the period of your investment, and enjoy less volatility3) than with a single investment.
Pros work to ensure your investment is a success.
Experienced asset managers constantly combine and optimise the individual investment instruments, from money market investments through bonds to raw material and commodity stocks, preferably in the form of mutual funds. In this way, any corrections in a particular investment vehicle (e.g. equities) can partially be checked and compensated for by another (e.g. bonds or real estate securities).
Internationally certified asset managers monitor the financial markets for you on a daily basis and ensure that there is always an optimal mix of the individual investment vehicles, also known as asset allocation. In doing this they not only rely on historical capital market data3) and forecasts3) but they also deploy the most advanced methods of risk management, an approach designed to ensure that your money is managed as efficiently as possible, whilst always striving to minimise risks.
Three options to choose from.
With FokusLife the asset managers bear your personal investment targets in mind. There are three different investment alternatives on the table, depending on your personal earnings goal and your appetite for risk, and they range from "return-oriented"4) through "balanced"4) to "growth-oriented"5). The earnings opportunities as well as the associated risks of the options increase in the same order. Strict quality control and corresponding risk management are deployed in order to minimise the risk of loss.
Details
Flexible, just like life itself.
FokusLife offers you a high degree of flexibility. After all, who can say today what will happen tomorrow? This is why FokusLife affords you the luxury of choice: In the event your living circumstances change you can switch to one of the other FokusLife plans at any time, and it won’t cost you a penny. You can relax in the knowledge that your investment can be adapted to your changed risk/return expectations with ease.
Tailored insurance protection.
With FokusLife your insurance protection comes made to order: If the return is what is important to you, then with regular premiums you can opt for minimum protection amounting to 30 % of the premium amount, or with a one-off premium you can choose minimum protection totalling 115 % of that premium. On the other hand, if the security of your family takes precedence, you can choose minimum protection of up to 200 % of the regular premiums or the one-off premium. Nevertheless, the following applies to both insurance options: If the policyholder dies and the accumulated assets plus 5 % of the minimum insurance exceed said insurance, the higher amount is paid out. If you wish to have a lower level of insurance protection you can allocate a higher percentage of the premium to the investment; conversely, if you wish to have a higher level of insurance protection you can allocate a lower percentage of the premium to the investment.
Flexible terms: 10 to 45 years.
The period you wish to invest and save is entirely up to you. But investing long term does pay off, since a longer period of investment enhances the earnings potential of FokusLife through compound interest. For tax reasons, the minimum term for investments with one-off premiums is 15 years. If you choose a longer term for your one-off premium, the early redemption of the plan after 15 years will lead to the same result you would have achieved if you had originally chosen a 15-year term.
From only EUR 50 per month.
It is common knowledge that building up wealth is a lengthier process than increasing existing capital. Now, for the first time, you can benefit from the advantages of active asset management for your regular savings and your savings for the future or retirement. All you need is to make a monthly payment of at least EUR 50.
With a "shortened premium payment period" your savings period is shorter than the selected investment term (minimum term for premium payments: 5 years; minimum investment term: 10 years). So you link one phase of accumulating assets with a subsequent investment phase, while all of your paid-in premiums continue to be managed. If you have higher demands, you can align your premium payments with your growing monthly income through an automatic adjustment. You determine the percentage by which you would like to increase your payments each year (from 3 % to 10 %), and you can then enjoy a far higher payout at the end of the term.
Of course, you can also open a FokusLife plan with a one-time payment of at least EUR 5,000.
Payout at your discretion.
At the end of the term, it is up to you how your investment is paid out: It can either be a one-off tax-free payment1) or be disbursed in the form of regular pension payments1) from the accumulated funds. This way you can improve your retirement income.
